Our Studio
We Build the Spaces Between Reality and Imagination.
Eagle's Landing Darkroom Holography is a full-service immersive effects studio. We design, engineer, and install environments that audiences cannot explain — only feel.
Origin
Born in the Darkroom.
Eagle's Landing started in a converted industrial darkroom in 2017 — a space originally built for large-format photographic printing that we repurposed into a laboratory for light, optics, and spatial illusion. The darkroom's total light control became our first canvas.
What began as experimental projection work for underground art events grew into a full production studio as brands discovered that audiences remember experiences, not advertisements. We built our first commercial holographic installation in 2019 for a luxury fragrance launch in London, and the brief was simple: make the bottle appear to float in mid-air above the crowd.
Today we operate across three continents, with permanent installations in corporate headquarters, flagship retail environments, and cultural institutions — and a live events division that activates at over 18 brand experiences per year.
By the Numbers
Philosophy
Every Sense Is a Channel.
We don't believe in decoration. Every element of an environment — light, sound, scent, temperature, texture — is a deliberate signal. Our job is to choreograph those signals into a single coherent experience that bypasses the rational mind and lands directly in memory.
01
Precision over spectacle
The most powerful illusions are the ones audiences can't immediately explain. We engineer for that moment of genuine disorientation.
02
Every sense is a channel
Light is our primary medium, but we design for the full sensory stack. Scent, haptics, and spatial audio are not afterthoughts — they're load-bearing.
03
No handoffs
We design, engineer, fabricate, and install in-house. The creative director who wrote the brief is on-site at load-in. That continuity is what makes the difference.
04
Built to last
Whether it's a one-night activation or a permanent installation, we build to the same standard. Nothing we make is disposable.
The Studio
Obsessives, Every One.
Our core team of 12 spans optical engineering, spatial audio design, fabrication, content production, and live event production. We hire for depth of obsession, not breadth of résumé.
Maren Voss
Creative Director & Founder
Former large-format photographer turned light sculptor. Maren has been designing immersive environments since before the industry had a name for it.
Daisuke Ren
Head of Optical Engineering
Trained in precision optics at Osaka University. Daisuke leads the design of all holographic and mirror systems, from concept through calibration.
Solène Marchetti
Sensory Design Lead
Solène's background is in spatial audio and olfactory design. She is responsible for the multi-sensory choreography that makes our environments feel complete.
Kwame Asante
Head of Fabrication
Kwame runs our in-house fabrication workshop. If it needs to be built, welded, wired, or calibrated on-site at 3am, he's already there.
